Program-Level Learning Goals

 

Goal 1: Students will understand and apply criminological theory

Our students will employ the ideas, concepts, and principles related to theories of crime and justice. Students master the links between theoretical abstractions and empirical data on crime and justice. Students use discipline-related theories to form and address research questions.

 

Goal 2: Students will be competent in the use of research methods

Students will master the Vocabulary and Application Skills in Social Science Data and Methods. They will devise competent strategies to address research questions and scenarios.
